QR Code Project

A QR code is a box-shaped barcode that uses Augmented Reality to create a digital experience using code. Using the camera option on either an iPad or an iPhone, you can hold up the camera to scan the code that contains information as a series of pixels in a square-shaped grid. QR codes are essential from a teacher's perspective, because students can scan these codes while using an iPad, laptop, or phone taking them to different activities and assignments the teacher assigns them.
Users can make QR codes by using online QR code generators by simply copying and pasting their website into the URL box, and the QR code will be generated for them. I created my QR code posters by using the online platform, Canva. I had the ability to select the theme of my poster, and I added elements such as text boxes and the QR code feature to my poster. I copied and pasted the links from each website I used into the QR Code template, and Canva generated my QR Code box for me. I used Canva to create an Early Finisher QR Code poster and a Math Activity Corner poster which are both featured on this page!
QR Codes relate to the Danielson Framework of Teaching, relating to Domain 3c because it engages students and provides rich learning experiences. As a teacher, I am using instructional materials and resources effectively, and I am creating activities and tasks for students to be productive after finishing class assignments.
