Teachers communicate students’ actions and expectations while doing the learning activities and explain how students will learn and what it looks like to be successful.

 

Elements include, Purpose for Learning and Criteria for Success, Specific Expectations, Explanations of Content, and Use of Academic Language. Teachers should have an objective category on the board every day to make students aware of what they will be expected to learn before each lesson.
