Component 4B

 Documenting Students Progress allows teachers to focus  on their documentation on students progress. 

 

Elements include Student Progress Toward Mastery and Shared Ownership. During the first week of school, teachers should have students make goals for themselves, and the teacher should collect their goals and look back to see how far or close the students are to achieving them. Also, the teacher could assign goals for the middle of the school year, and goals for the end of the school year, see if students accomplished prior goals, or see if they still have things they need to work on.
