Third Grade Classroom Rules

Pink Lilac Soft Simple Illustrated Flower And Butterfly Birthday Invitation Flyer.jpg

Canva is a online graphic design tool that allows users to create different types of visual representation to display their information of a subject. You can use Canva to create social media posts, presentations, posters, infographics, videos, etc. On the Canva page, I selected the flyers option, then I scrolled through the different flyer templates until I found one that would look good in my future classroom. I then researched classroom rules and ideas on Pinterest, and then generated the idea for my flyer. I customized my flyer by selected the font, font size, and color while inserting my necessary information needed for the flyer.

I wanted my poster to look aesthetically pleasing, but I also wanted to incorporate important concepts and rules for my third grade classroom. I thought it was creative to have an acronym for the word "Leaders", and what it meant for students to be leaders in the classroom. I chose the color scheme of pinks and purples, because they are fun and light colors that easily brighten up a classroom.

The Canva flyer that I created fits into the Danielson Framework for teaching, because it relates to Domain 2, Component 2a: Cultivating Respectful and Affirming Environments and Component 3a: Communicating about Purpose and Content. My poster correlates with Component 2a, because it supports a positive classroom learning environment, and allows each student to have shared values. The poster also creates a respectful classroom environment, where students feel supported, challenged, and safe. My poster corresponds with Component 3a, because as the teacher, I am communicating the goals and objectives that I expect from each student to create a community for learning.
