Figjam Project
Figjam is a visual collaboration tool developed by Figma that enables remote teams to collaborate and brainstorm ideas in real time. Teachers can create lesson plans using templates on Figjam to brainstorm, develop, and organize ideas. The whiteboard tool allows users to use sticky notes and shapes to share their thoughts and ideas. Users can make their whiteboard interactive with the different features Figjam has to offer.
To make my Figjam whiteboard, I used AI to create a lesson plan template that included objectives, teaching procedures, key concepts, and interactive activities for the students to do after learning the material. Then I used PDEsas.org to find my standards and base my lesson plan on my standards of multiplication, division, and physics focusing on acceleration and force.
Figjam relates to the Danielson Framework of Teaching, relating to Domain 3c, because it makes learning engaging for students with interactive elements such as polls, diagrams, sticky notes, flowcharts dice games, and more!
Five classroom ideas teachers can use with Figjam include classroom icebreakers, lesson plans, class check-in, class voting, and think, pair, share discussions.
