In my math methods course at Grove City College, I created a lesson plan with a partner. My partner and I created our lesson using a math manipulative, Algebra Tiles, for 6th-8th-grade students. Algebra tiles are physical manipulatives that allow students to visualize and understand how to solve algebraic expressions. We also provided a method of using them in the classroom in an engaging and fun manner.
