Community Involvement

I was a teachers aid in a 3rd-4th grade classroom. I helped instruct and lead different activities on tessellations.

I was the head teacher in a kindergarten classroom and I taught students addition and subtraction. I lead different activities on Noah's Ark Math.

I participated in Kindergarten Registration Day at Hillview Elementary in Grove City, PA. I tested several incoming kindergarten students in English and mathematics to make sure they were prepared for kindergarten.

I was on the committee for the fundraiser, and I organized and planned EEC Festival of the Trees through the Kappa Delta Pi Honorary. Greek life and Sports teams decorated a tree, and they were auctioned to Grove City College students and faculty. All the proceeds went to support the Early Education Childhood Center at Grove City College. (11/19/24)

I volunteered to work in one of the tents for Special Olympics at Westminster College. My tent had fun break activities for participants including coloring and bracelet making. I helped prepare games and activities for individuals who particpated in Special Olympics.

The sisters of the Gamma Chi Sorority volunteered to help deep clean a cat shelter, help bathe, and take care of the cats. (9/21/24) 

I volunteered at the fish fry for the Catholic Church in Grove City, and I helped serve food and desserts to individuals who came to the fish fry. I also helped wipe down tables and set tables with place mats and silverware.
